Charlie Delta Project
Computer Forensics & Expert Witness Services
Welcome to the Charlie Delta Project, a cyber-based pro-bono investigations volunteer service provider. As a retired federal law enforcement officer with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, I served as a criminal and counterintelligence cyber Special Agent specializing in computer forensic investigations. Before that, I was a detective for a California police department, serving as the department's lead computer forensic detective, and served on three separate FBI task forces. So, let my years of experience and thousands of hours of world-class government training work for your client. I am currently offering the following help to pro-bono or public defense attorneys.
I will review all case files and perform a digital evidence assessment so the attorney thoroughly understands the weight of the digital evidence in their case. Understanding the evidence can help determine if seeking a deal with the DA/AUSA will be advantageous due to the amount of inculpatory evidence involved in the case or to seek a jury trial due to the amount of exculpatory evidence.
I will help identify any improperly collected or missed evidence not collected by the state that should have been by investigators based on investigative reports. I will assist attorneys in forming lines of questioning for trial and cross-examining opposing experts. I will expand the service to include complete forensic investigation services as I gain more computer and cell phone investigative equipment.
*I do not investigate crimes involving children. As we grow, we will be offering the following volunteer forensic services.
Digital investigations include:
Digital Crime Scene Reconstruction
File Recovery
